Irina Velman lives and works in Waitakere, where the nature is powerful and beautiful, art community is flourishing, and it is impossible to run out of inspiration.
Irina’s expressionist style explores her interest in shapes, lines and colours of nature combined with emotional responses and memories. The artist uses both traditional and experimental painting techniques. Combining acrylic paints with different polymers and resin, she creates unique texture and organic earthy feeling.
Irina sees the world in a beautiful, mysterious way, and believes in the healing power of art.
