Since 1976, Flowers by Joanne has been part of the heartbeat of the Hibiscus Coast.
Established in 1976, the shop quickly became known for its elegant arrangements and warm, personal service. Generations of locals have trusted us to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments — from weddings and births to heartfelt goodbyes.
Our current home at 5 Riverside Road has its own special history. For decades, it was the site of a busy electrical workshop where locals brought their radios and televisions for repair. Many still remember visiting with their families, and even today you can see faint traces of those earlier days on the shop windows. Now transformed into a florist, the little white building continues to serve Orewa — not with wires and tools, but with flowers, colour, and care.
Today, Flowers by Joanne continues that legacy with the same passion for beautiful design and strong community connection. Every bouquet is handcrafted with care in our Orewa shop using the freshest seasonal blooms, combining classic techniques with a modern touch.
