Prices

The prices for the products on the website are stated and are payable in New Zealand Dollars (NZD)

All prices and delivery charges within New Zealand are inclusive of NZ Goods & Services Tax (GST).

We may vary any prices on our website at any time and without notice to the buyer. The price displayed at the time that you place your Order will continue to apply to you even if the price changes before your Order is accepted by Flowers by Joanne.

Mother's Day & Valentine's Day Delivery

Due to the high volume orders, Mother's Day & Valentine's Day deliveries will be limited to our local Hibiscus Coast areas and North Shore only.

Hibiscus Coast covers the suburbs of Silverdale/Millwater, Milldale, Orewa and Hatfields Beach through to the Whangaparaoa Peninsula; Gulf Harbour, Army Bay, Tindalls Bay, Matakatia, Manly, Stanmore Bay, Arkles Bay & Red Beach. 

Mother’s Day in New Zealand is Sunday May 14, 2023 . We deliver on Mother's Day Sunday, Saturday or any day of the week for this special occasion!

The cut-off time for Mother’s Day orders is 2:00pm on Saturday the 13th of May 2023.

All orders for Valentine’s Day delivery must be placed no later than 2:00pm on Monday the 13th of February


Delivery Information

We can deliver throughout New Zealand and Internationally. 

Over the Harbour Bridge deliveries including Centreal and South Auckland will take overnight.

Estimated Flower Delivery Time - Auckland 

We guarantee flower delivery to schools by 3:00 pm, business by 5:00 pm, hospitals and residential by 7:00 pm Monday -  Saturday. NO delivery on Sunday and public holidays. Orders received on Sunday & public holidays will be delivered on the next working day without notice to the customer.

We cannot guarantee specific delivery times for any orders, due to the dynamic nature of couriers and traffic. Whilst Flowers By Joanne offers customers the opportunity to nominate a preferred time of delivery (i.e. AM, PM or ASAP) it is NOT possible to guarantee that these times will be achieved.

Delivery to rural areas may take two full days and may not be possible on Saturdays. If there are any extra costs for delivery, we will contact you while processing the order.

Please note that these delivery times will likely be extended during busy floral events including (but not limited to) Mother's Day, Valentine's Day and Christmas. We endeavour to do our best to have orders arrive at your desired time but cannot be held responsible for deliveries that arrive sooner than expected or are held up in transit through unforeseen events.

Our couriers only make one attempt at delivery & do not require a signature, unless otherwise requested in the special delivery instructions when you place your order. 

If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery, our courier will leave the flowers in what they deem to be a safe location, if necessary, a calling card will be left in the letterbox or under the door advising where and when they were left.  Flowers By Joanne is not responsible if the gift/flowers are damaged or lost once left by our couriers in a place deemed safe. We can hold no liability for those orders left at our discretion.

If a requirement of the destination is that orders be received and passed over to a concierge or gated security such as offices or serviced apartments, we can hold no liability for those orders from that point on.

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to an incorrect address provided, security gates, inaccessible apartments or our courier believes the order cannot be left safely, orders will be returned to our shop. 

There will be a re-delivery fee of the same original delivery cost if the gift/flowers need to redelivered or redirected.  

Please note that due to the perishable nature of flowers, additional surcharge may be required to redeliver your order on a later day.

Please ensure that you give us correct delivery address and full delivery instructions to avoid potential problems.

Confirmation of delivery

All Flowers by Joanne's orders are assumed delivered successfully. We are happy to phone or email the confirmation at your request. 

Extreme Weather and Inaccessible Locations

There will be times when delivery dates and times will not be met due to circumstances beyond our control. Sometimes, extreme weather may make it impossible for your gift to be delivered as you wished. If your gift cannot be delivered due to weather conditions, inaccessibility to the delivery site, special order considerations and delays, or for any other reason, we will make every attempt to contact the sender and/or the recipient concerning the delay.

Sending Flowers Anonymously

If you do not place a "From" message in the message box we will assume you do not want the recipient to know who the gift is from. 

We will not reveal identity of the sender even if we are contacted by recipients, as we are bound by the Privacy Act to keep all customers information confidential.

We are part of Interflora network for international and New Zealand deliveries. We suggest you contact us for advice when ordering flowers for overseas delivery. 

SUBSTITUTION POLICY

We reserve the right to make fair and reasonable substitutions according to the practical availability of specific flower types and containers.

Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability.  If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, the florist will ensure that the style, theme and colour of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items as required.

The website photos are an indication of style, colour and the type of flowers we would normally have available. They may not be exactly the same as the final product. The stem count and contents for each product will vary due to season, availability and prices.

By purchasing products through our website, you hereby confirm that you have read and agreed to the above statements.

Will My Bouquet Look Exactly Like The Picture

Flowers are seasonal products, and some varieties will therefore not always be available at florists. We make everything to order, using the freshest products available- if a particular flower variety is unavailable for whatever reason, we will substitute it for as close a match as we can get for both style and colour.

Yes, you have the options to upsize your flower arrangements. Images as shown online are predominantly the large or extra large options. Small and medium sizes will be similar though smaller than shown. Please double-check what size is being depicted in the picture with our florists if you are concerned. 

Refund, Return & Replacement Policy

At Flowers by Joanne, we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and services.  We ensure that only the freshest and highest quality flowers are hand selected and bought 3 times a week. 

Given the perishable nature of many of our products, Care instructions must be followed thoroughly in order to increase the lifespan and enjoyment of your flowers. It is the responsibility of the recipient to follow any care instructions provided.

Your satisfaction is our top priority

If your flowers has been delivered in unsatisfactory condition, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery and we require a photo of the entire arrangement to be emailed to info@flowersbyjoanne.co.nz for our record and review. 

If for any reason you, or the recipient of your gift, is not completely satisfied with gifts or flowers have not lasted at least 4 days, let us know within 7 days of receiving your flowers by calling 09 4265287 and we require a photo of the entire arrangement to be emailed to info@flowersbyjoanne.co.nz for our record and review. So the exact problem can be rectified and addressed with the relevant suppliers. Once we’re confident that they have been cared for as recommended, we will happily replace the flowers.  

Change of mind returns - Flowers By Joanne will not accept change of mind returns on any of our products. In order to qualify for returns or refunds there must be some fault with either the product or the service received.

No Refund for special orders such as an bouquet or arrangement be prepared a certain way.

No refund if product was lost, damaged or disposed of after delivery.

No refund for Gift cards.

If an order cancellation request received with MORE THAN 24 hours of the day for delivery, your order will be refunded in full to the payment device you made payment with. Cancellations received within LESS THAN 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled delivery date will incur a fee of 50% of the total order value. 

We are unable to cancel orders that are with our courier for delivery. 

Please contact us within 24 hours after goods shipping for a replacement or refund if you are not satisfied with our service. If it is after this 24hour period, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

Floral gifts are perishable and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
